The New Principles Of Marketing
I’m on a quest to master marketing. And when the marketing master, Seth Godin, released his latest book, This Is Marketing: You Can’t Be Seen Until You Learn to See, I was psyched to read it.
The book didn’t disappoint (book notes in a future post!). At the end of the it, I was delighted to find a list of Seth’s recommended reading for marketers. And I decided to read every single book on the list and write about the lessons from each.
To make the list easier to scan and read, I organized it into four categories:
Business
Copywriting & Advertising
Sales & Direct Marketing
Branding: Being Market-Drive, Not Marketing-Driven
I’ll update the list with links to the blog posts as I go through each book, including This Is Marketing.
And of course, if you want to support the blog, pick up a book via the affiliate link. You’ll still get the books at the same price, but a portion of it will go to me. Thanks in advance if you do. 🙌
A short message before we dive in: I usually write about web3, creativity, and the creator economy. If these interest you, you’ll probably enjoy my weekly newsletter. Subscribe below to get more posts, or check out previous editions to “try before you buy”.
